Five-Year Review Cycle
All academic programs undergo comprehensive review every five years. Programs with specialized accreditation may align their review cycle with accreditation timelines.

Program Review Process
Program faculty complete comprehensive self-study addressing curriculum, student outcomes, resources, and future directions. IR provides data support.
External reviewer(s) visit campus, meet with faculty and students, review facilities, and prepare written report with recommendations.
Program faculty respond to external review findings and develop action plan addressing recommendations.
Program Review Committee reviews all materials and makes recommendations to academic leadership.
Program implements approved action items with annual progress reports until next review cycle.
Self-Study Components
The self-study document provides a comprehensive analysis of the program. Key sections include:
Program history, mission statement, alignment with institutional goals, and program distinctiveness.
Curriculum structure, student learning outcomes, assessment results, and evidence of student achievement.
Faculty credentials, teaching loads, scholarly activity, professional development, and staffing adequacy.
Enrollment trends, student demographics, retention and graduation rates, and student support services.
Budget, facilities, technology, library resources, and equipment adequacy for program needs.
